San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore is on pace to play Saturday against the San Diego Chargers.
Carlos Hyde is also banged up, so the 49ers could be very shorthanded in the backfield if Gore can't play.
The 49ers were officially eliminated from playoff contention last week and will now be hoping to play spoiler against the Chargers.
