The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have announced the release of offensive coordinator Jeff Tedford from his contractual obligations with the team.

Tedford took an indefinite leave of absence in September to recover from a coronary angioplasty and is likely to pursue other coaching opportunities.

Quarterbacks coach Marcus Arroyo has been acting as offensive coordinator, calling the plays this season.
