Jerick McKinnon: (Back) Active Sunday

McKinnon (back) is active for Sunday's contest against the Packers.

Analysis:

Slated to earn the bulk of the carries, due to Matt Asiata's bout with a concussion, McKinnon could take advantage of a Green Bay run defense that has allowed 4.5 YPC, but only one touchdown on the ground, in the last four games. While newcomer Ben Tate is expected to serve as McKinnon's backup, according to Albert Breer of NFL Network, it would surprise if McKinnon surrenders much of his typical workload.
