Chargers' Brandon Flowers misses practice Tuesday

A concussion suffered in Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs forced San Diego Chargers cornerback Brandon Flowers to miss team practice for the second consecutive day Tuesday.
Flowers will need to pass the league's concussion protocol before being cleared to play, but a quick turnaround for a Thursday night matchup with the Denver Broncos doesn't give him much time to do so.
The Chargers' No. 1 cornerback, Flowers being forced to sit out certainly wouldn't be good news for the secondary as they take on one of the league's most dominant passing attacks.
