Steelers overcome slow start to down Texans on Monday night

An early 13-point deficit didn't phase the Pittsburgh Steelers on this night, as they put in a dominant performance from that point on, coming away with a 30-23 victory over the Houston Texans. The Steelers move to 4-3 and remain right in the thick of the AFC North race, while the Texans drop to 3-4 and continue to regress after a hot start to the season.

• The first quarter and a half saw the Texans dominate both sides of the ball on their way to a 13-0 lead and had the Steelers looking like a team on its way to being blown out for the second consecutive game.

• The Steelers would remain in control from that point on and, after coming away with a recovery on an eventful onside kick from the Texans late in the game, they would close out the 30-23 win.
• Ben Roethlisberger's efficient play saw him finish with completions on 23-of-33 attempts, 265 yards passing and two touchdowns.
• Le'Veon Bell finished with only 12 carries for 57 yards, but added a career-high 88 receiving yards on eight receptions, as well as a touchdown.
• Antonio Brown continues to perform as one of the NFL's top playmakers, leading all receivers in this game with nice receptions for 90 yards.
• Helping the offense to snap out of its early struggles, Steelers rookie wide receiver Martavis Bryant notched his first-career touchdown catch in the second quarter.
• Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 21-of-32 passes for 262 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
• While the majority of his production came in the first quarter, Arian Foster finished with a solid stat line of 20 carries for 102 yards.
• With his five catches for 77 yards, Andre Johnson passed Steve Largent for 14th on the NFL's all-time receiving list.
• The win is the Steelers' 16th consecutive at home on Monday Night Football, with the last loss coming against the New York Giants in 1991.
