Bills' Bryce Brown unhappy with lack of playing time

After being traded to the Buffalo Bills in the offseason, Bryce Brown expected to see more playing time.

Brown, dealt from the Philadelphia Eagles to Buffalo in May, has struggled to crack the lineup in the Bills' crowded backfield.

"I expected to play and I expected to play right away," said Brown, who has been inactive for the Bills' first six games of the season, according to Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News. "I still expected to play right away after preseason. Me not playing and inactive was a surprise.”

Buffalo has averaged 101 rushing yards per game, 11th fewest in the league. The vast majority of the workload has been handled by Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller.

"It’s been very tough for me to sit on the sideline, watching my teammates going out, and not being able to contribute on game day," Brown said. "At the end of the day, I can only control what I can control. They made a decision and went with who they went with. So that’s what I’ve got to live with."

The Bills play the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, when Brown hopes to finally see the field for the first time this season.
