Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer has been advised not to undergo surgery and to continue with his current rehab program.

Palmer sought a second opinion from Los Angeles-based orthopedic surgeon Robert Watkins on Wednesday, according to FOX Sports Mike Jurecki.

The quarterback is dealing with an axillary nerve contusion in his right shoulder, which leads to shoulder numbness and weakness.
