Fantasy Pulse: Bobby Rainey fumbles away opportunity

by Michael Amato

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bobby Rainey had a chance to build on an impressive start to the season with Doug Martin still sidelined, but he didn't deliver.

Rainey fumbled twice and has managed just 33 yards on 10 carries as we sit late in the fourth quarter. That's well below his six yards per carry average this season.

He posted a solid seven catches for 64 yards, but most of those came in garbage time with the Bucs down multiple scores.

Any thoughts of Rainey overtaking Martin as the starter look to be premature.
