Report: Cardinals' Jonathan Dwyer arrested for suspicion of aggravated assault
Arizona Cardinals running back Jonathan Dwyer was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and preventing someone from calling 911, according to the CBS Evening News.
A police spokesman confirmed to AZCentral Sports that they did arrest on suspicion of aggravated assault, but at this point no details regarding other charges are available.
Dwyer was reportedly available to media in the Cardinals' locker room on Wednesday, but was later pulled out of practice for police questioning.
Dwyer's arrest comes on the heels of the NFL's mishandling of the Ray Rice case and the recent child abuse allegations leveled against Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson.
