Michael Sam responds to Tony Dungy comments: 'Thank God he wasn't the St. Louis Rams coach'
Michael Sam refuses to be distracted by Tony Dungy's controversial comments.
Sam took Dungy's remarks in stride, showing poise and professionalism while responding to media questions relating to Dungy's assertion that the media attention surrounding Sam's sexual orientation would be too much of a distraction to justify drafting him.

Sam had no interest in dwelling on the comments, preferring to focus on the task at hand: making the St. Louis Rams.
"I don't really care what people are coming up and talking about," Sam said, cutting off a reporter asking a follow-up question about Dungy. "My job is to make this team, that's my number one priority."
