Washington Redskins safety Tanard Jackson is not going to let his career slip away quietly.
Jackson says he will appeal his indefinite suspension for a repeat violation of the NFL's drug policy and suggests this time is different from his 2012 suspension.
Tanard Jackson tells ESPN 980 he & his agent are planning to appeal AND ''this is not a repeat of the past, totally different." #Redskins

Jackson is no stranger to substance abuse policy violations. He was suspended for the first four games of the 2009 season and again in 2010 - this time for an entire calendar year. He was suspended again after joining the Redskins in 2012 and remained ineligible to play until May, when he was reinstated and signed a new deal with Washington.
