The NFL reportedly had a "handful" of volunteers to appear on the program, and the usual handful of teams who either openly refused or chose not to volunteer.
The Falcons were not on the initial list of eight potential teams in the running for the show.
The NFL wanted them to be featured on the show two years ago, but the team passed.
They are coming off a disappointing 4-12 season, but are two seasons removed from appearing in the NFC Championship Game.
