PHOTOS: Giants' Steve Weatherford takes New Jersey girl to prom
New York Giants punter Steve Weatherford made a young fan's dream come true.
It started back in April, when Bayonne (N.J.) High School student Lauren Delbert sent Weatherford this proposal.

Weatherford accepted shortly after, and made good on his promise on Friday.

Weatherford is having himself quite the offseason.
The 31-year-old visited a Leukemia patient in hospital back in March after the man's wife reached out to Weatherford on Twitter.
Nice to see an NFL player take the term "social media" literally.
