Broncos GM Elway's son arrested on assault, disturbing the peace charges

Denver Broncos general manager John Elway's son, John Elway III, was arrested on charges of assault and disturbing the peace after an incident on Friday.

"Jack" Elway, the Broncos legend's 24-year-old son, was arraigned on Saturday, according to Denver's 9News. 

A judge set bond at $550, and the younger Elway was bonded out by his father.

"This is a personal family matter and the Broncos will not have any additional comment on it," Broncos executive director of media relations Patrick Smyth said in a statement.
