As Aaron Hernandez's legal woes continue to mount, the former New England Patriot may have yet another problem on his hands; an inability to pay his ever increasing legal fees.

According to a report by FOX Sports, two of Hernandez's three attorneys filed court documents this week that indicate they may not be representing him for much longer. Already charged with the murder of Odin Lloyd, Hernandez was arraigned for a double homicide from 2012 this week and it was at that time the lawyers filed their notice.

Charles Rankin and James Sultan filed the notice saying their involvement in the double-murder case was "limited to arraignment only and related proceedings" demonstrating they may not represent Hernandez should the case go to trial.

Michael Fee, Hernandez's third attorney, has filed no such paperwork.

Hernandez's lack of funds stems from a number of factors. Due to his incarceration he's unable to generate any money from his home, valued at $1.3 million, as a restraining order was issued that prevents him from selling the house.

Also, $3.25 million of the signing bonus Hernandez was to receive from the New England Patriots is part of a dispute between the team and the players union, leaving him apparently low on funds.

According to the notice by Rankin and Sultan, Hernandez is trying to make arrangements in able to pay for his defense, but there's obviously some difficulty in the former tight end getting his finances in order.
