Carolina Panthers defensive end Greg Hardy appeared in court on Wednesday after his arrest for domestic violence, and some details about the alleged incident were revealed.

Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer indicated that the judge said both Hardy and his girlfriend were intoxicated during the incident, while Hardy's attorney added that the alleged victim refused to leave his client's apartment.

Hardy's girlfriend filed a protective order against him and the details of the arrest warrant are shocking.

His girlfriend also added that Hardy threw her on a couch covered with "assault weapons and/or shotguns.” According to her statement, Hardy indicated the weapons were loaded and threatened to shoot her if she reported the incident.

Hardy will be forced to pay $17,000 bond and required to attend three AA meetings a week.
