The Cincinnati Bengals and quarterback Joe Flacco agreed to a one-year deal, his agent told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

Flacco's deal is worth $6 million and can reach up to $9 million with incentives, a source told Fowler.

Cincinnati acquired Flacco from the Cleveland Browns in early October. He was immediately inserted as the starting quarterback to replace Jake Browning, who'd struggled in his three starts replacing the injured Joe Burrow.

Flacco started six games for the Bengals in 2025, completing just over 60% of his throws for 1,664 yards with 13 touchdowns and four interceptions. Out of 30 qualifying signal-callers last season, Flacco ranked 28th in EPA/play and 29th in success rate, according to Ben Baldwin's database. Flacco backed up Burrow for the final six games of the season after his return from a toe injury.

The 41-year-old Flacco has started 201 games during his 18-year career with six different organizations. He was named MVP of Super Bowl XLVII after helping lead the Baltimore Ravens to a Lombardi Trophy during the 2012 season.

Cincinnati now has Burrow, Flacco, Sean Clifford, and Josh Johnson on its quarterback depth chart. Notable free agents the Bengals have signed this offseason include Boye Mafe, Bryan Cook, and Jonathan Allen.
