Report: Dickerson to have knee surgery, eyes return for season opener
Philadelphia Eagles guard Landon Dickerson will undergo a procedure to repair the meniscus in his right knee in the coming days, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Dickerson will be considered week-to-week after surgery, with the goal of rehabbing in time to be available for the Eagles' season opener against the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 4.
The 26-year-old guard suffered the injury Sunday during team drills at practice. Dickerson was helped off the field and struggled to put weight on his right leg before being carted to the locker room.
Dickerson has been a starter on Philadelphia's offensive line since being drafted in the second round in 2021 and has earned Pro Bowl honors in each of the last three seasons. The Eagles rewarded him with a four-year, $84-million extension in March 2024.
Kenyon Green, Matt Pryor, Brett Toth, and Trevor Keegan are potential replacements for Dickerson at guard on the roster if he misses time.
Dickerson has started 62 games over his four-year NFL career.
