Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins will miss at least one week with a knee sprain that he sustained Monday against the Baltimore Ravens, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Dobbins' status after this week's contest against the Atlanta Falcons is up in the air, Rapoport reports.
The 25-year-old leads the Chargers in rushing yards (766) and touchdowns (eight) by a wide margin. He's also posted 134 receiving yards on 28 receptions.
Gus Edwards is expected to start in Dobbins' absence. The 6-foot-1, 238-pounder has totaled 206 yards and one touchdown on 63 carries this season. He missed Weeks 5 through 8 with an ankle injury.
The Chargers play the Kansas City Chiefs in two weeks.
