It didn't take long for rookie Rome Odunze to buy into the Chicago Bears-Green Bay Packers rivalry.

After the Bears drafted the former Washington receiver No. 9 overall last Thursday, Odunze made it known he has no love for Chicago's NFC North rivals.

"First day hating the Packers, I already can't stand them," Odunze joked in an interview with Overtime's "Talk 2 Me" show. "Every time I see green, I nearly puke."

The Bears opened and closed their 2023 regular season against the Packers, losing both games. Chicago finished the campaign at the bottom of the NFC North with a 7-10 record, while Green Bay went 9-8 to place second in the division.

Odunze had 92 catches for 1,640 yards and 13 touchdowns last season to help Washington reach the College Football Playoff National Championship game. He joins a wide receiver group in Chicago that includes D.J. Moore and Keenan Allen.
