NFL announces full 2021 regular-season schedule

The NFL released its complete schedule for the 2021 regular season Wednesday.

The regular season will kick off on Thursday, Sept. 9, with the Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers hosting the Dallas Cowboys.

A stacked primetime slate for opening weekend also includes the Los Angeles Rams hosting the Chicago Bears at So-Fi Stadium on Sunday night, and the Baltimore Ravens traveling to Las Vegas to take on the Raiders on Monday Night Football.

With the NFL moving to a 17-game schedule for the first time this year, the regular season now spans a total 18 weeks. That pushes the final Sunday of the season back to January 9, and the first round of the playoffs to the following weekend.
