Jadeveon Clowney is scheduled for a second free-agent visit with the Cleveland Browns on Wednesday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.

A deal is not imminent, but both sides have remained in contact and have mutual interest, Rapoport adds.

The free-agent pass-rusher was originally scheduled to visit Cleveland on Monday, but travel issues postponed those plans, according to NFL reporter Josina Anderson.

Clowney, 28, first met with the AFC North club in late March but left the visit without a deal. The Browns also reportedly reached out to him last offseason before he signed with the Tennessee Titans.

The Browns are in the market for an edge rusher to pair with Myles Garrett. They've yet to make a major signing on that front, but did add former first-round pick Takk McKinley on a one-year pact this offseason.

Clowney has 32 career sacks in his seven seasons. He had 29 in his five years with the Houston Texans, but only managed one with the Seattle Seahawks in 2019 and none in eight games with the Titans.

Cleveland ranked 16th in the league in sacks with 38 in 2020. Garrett led the way with 12 and current free agent Olivier Vernon added nine.
