The Philadelphia Eagles are placing wide receivers J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, John Hightower, and Deontay Burnett on the reserve/COVID-19 list, sources told Geoff Mosher of Inside the Birds.

Arcega-Whiteside reportedly tested positive for the coronavirus, while Hightower and Burnett were deemed close contacts.

Philadelphia confirmed it will enter intensive protocols Thursday. The NFL ordered all teams to comply with those rules effective Saturday.

Under the league's protocols, Arcega-Whiteside is unlikely to play Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. Hightower and Burnett must test negative in order to be cleared for Week 11.

The 2019 second-rounder has largely disappointed since entering the league. He's hauled in 12 receptions across 23 career games and was a healthy scratch for last week's loss to the New York Giants.

Hightower is a speedy fifth-round rookie, while Burnett was on the Eagles' practice squad.
