Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shahid Khan expects disgruntled cornerback Jalen Ramsey to return from his two-game absence in Week 6 against the New Orleans Saints, according to The Street's Katherine Ross.

Ramsey is currently battling a back injury and returned to practice on a limited basis on Wednesday. He last played in Jacksonville's Week 3 win over the Tennessee Titans after asking for a trade in mid-September.

"You've gotta balance what's good for the team with what the individual's wishes might be," Khan told Ross. "I met him a couple of days ago, (we) had a heart-to-heart (conversation), and I think we'll be able to come to whatever makes sense for all."

The star defender recently reiterated his desire to be dealt, but Khan stated he's unwilling to do so.

Jacksonville's owner previously said he'd be willing to make Ramsey the NFL's highest-paid cornerback. Drafted fifth overall by the team in 2016, the 24-year-old is tied to his rookie contract through the 2020 campaign.

The Jaguars currently sit at 2-3 and the AFC South lead is well within reach. Ramsey's addition would help the team's defense of star Saints receiver Michael Thomas on Sunday.
