It took 635 days, but the Cleveland Browns have once again tasted victory after defeating the New York Jets 21-17 on Thursday night.

Cleveland last won on Dec. 24, 2016, when they beat the San Diego Chargers 20-17.

Heisman trophy winner and first overall pick Baker Mayfield took over the reins at quarterback in the second quarter from Tyrod Taylor, who was diagnosed with a concussion. Mayfield lifted the Browns back from a 14-0 deficit, throwing for 201 yards by completing 17 of his 23 passes in the monumental victory.

Several players from around the Association, including Akron native LeBron James, celebrated Mayfield's performance and the Browns finally getting over the hump on social media.
