Three-time All-Pro Patrick Peterson will enter training camp excited about the Arizona Cardinals' quarterback situation.

Peterson was asked on SiriusXM NFL Radio on Monday who he thought would be the team's starter for Week 1 as free-agent addition Sam Bradford and rookie Josh Rosen get set to compete to replace the retired Carson Palmer.

"I think the job will definitely be Sam's for sure," Peterson said.

"Josh blew my mind in my first week with him. I was like this guy's only been here a week and he's already doing what? I was very very impressed, he's definitely the future of our franchise."

Bradford was signed to a two-year, $20-million contract this offseason, according to Over The Cap. The Cardinals then traded up to select Rosen with the No. 10 pick in April's draft.

The hope is that the two will stabilize a position that saw three quarterbacks attempt at least 150 passes last season, completing just 56.7 percent of 597 throws as a group.
