It appears Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant will learn of his future with the team before their first official offseason workout Monday.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and Bryant will meet Friday to discuss the wideout's contract, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Jones will then make a decision about whether to release Bryant.

Bryant carries a $16.5 million salary-cap hit for the 2018 season after struggling in 2017, leading to rumors of his potential release. The three-time Pro Bowler accumulated 69 receptions, 838 yards, and six touchdowns last season, and hasn't surpassed the 1,000-yard plateau since 2014.

The Cowboys signed Allen Hurns and Deonte Thompson in free agency and have been linked to a number of wideouts in the draft.
