Free-agent quarterback Brock Osweiler is making his first team visit of the offseason Thursday, as he'll meet with the Miami Dolphins, Craig Mish of SiriusXM reports.

Osweiler started four games and appeared in two others for the Denver Broncos in 2017, throwing for just over 1,000 yards with five touchdowns and five interceptions.

He formerly worked with Dolphins head coach Adam Gase, who was the offensive coordinator in Denver during part of Osweiler's first stint with the club.

If signed, Osweiler would likely act as a veteran voice behind starter Ryan Tannehill, while Miami is also a candidate to select a quarterback high in the upcoming draft.
