Report: Packers sign Kyle Fuller to offer sheet

Jake Roth / USA TODAY Sports

The Green Bay Packers signed cornerback Kyle Fuller to an offer sheet on Friday, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.

The Chicago Bears placed the transition tag on Fuller on March 6, which would allow him to play on a one-year contract worth $12.9 million for the upcoming season. As a result, the Bears will now have five days to match the Packers' offer sheet.

Fuller was selected in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Bears out of Virginia Tech. The 26-year-old recorded 69 tackles, 22 pass deflections, and two interceptions during the 2017 season.

It appears the NFL's oldest rivalry just got a lot more interesting.
