The New York Jets are re-signing cornerback Morris Claiborne on a one-year, $7-million contract, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Claiborne, 28, joined the Jets last season and started all 15 games he was active for, making 43 tackles, eight pass deflections, and one interception. He and the freshly signed Trumaine Johnson will likely be the Jets' starting corners next season.

The former sixth overall pick is entering his seventh season in the league after spending the first five years with the Dallas Cowboys.
