The Los Angeles Rams have agreed to trade Robert Quinn to the Miami Dolphins, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Fox Sports' Peter Schrager reports the Rams will receive a 2018 fourth-round pick from Miami in return, and the teams will also swap 2018 sixth-round picks.

No trades can be made official until the new league year begins on March 14, but Los Angeles has already agreed to two big trades; acquiring Marcus Peters from the Kansas City Chiefs last week.

Quinn has played his entire career for the Rams, accumulating 54 sacks in 80 games. He was a 2013 first-team All-Pro and was named to the Pro Bowl in 2013 and 2014.

According to Rapoport, Los Angeles offered Quinn during trade talks centered around Peters. The 2011 first-round pick is under contract for two more years and is due $11.4 million this season.

The Dolphins now have another experienced, productive pass-rusher opposite Cameron Wake in their 4-3 defense.
