Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook appeared set to take the league by storm in his rookie campaign in 2017, but a torn ACL in September ended his first NFL season after just four games.

However, Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer expects Cook to be "pretty close" to ready for the start of OTAs in May, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

Cook racked up 354 yards and two rushing touchdowns on 74 carries before going down with the knee injury.

With Jerick McKinnon a free agent and Latavius Murray's future uncertain, Cook could be facing a heavy workload in his sophomore season.
