Report: Jets will pay 'whatever it takes' to land Cousins
Determined to solve their quarterback crisis once and for all, the New York Jets are willing to pay "whatever it takes" to sign Kirk Cousins as a free agent, sources told ESPN's Rich Cimini.
Assuming he isn't franchise tagged for the third year in a row, the 29-year-old will be the most coveted pivot on the market this offseason and is poised to secure one of the richest contracts in NFL history.

Cousins has already publicly stated his desire to play for a winning franchise, so the Jets are reportedly preparing to pitch him their blueprint for building a championship team around him.
The quarterback topped 4,000 passing yards in each of the last three seasons. He totaled 4,093 yards and 27 touchdowns with 13 interceptions for the Washington Redskins in 2017.
