Teddy Bridgewater is confident he'll be a starting quarterback next season, but the former first-round pick is less sure that it'll be with the Minnesota Vikings.

"I don't know what the future holds," Bridgewater told reporters Monday when asked about his future with the club, according to Chad Graff of the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

The 25-year-old, though, said there's "no question" in his mind he'll be a starter in 2018, whether it's in Minnesota or elsewhere, per the St. Paul Pioneer Press' Dane Mizutani.

Bridgewater was one of the feel-good stories of the NFL this season, returning from a devastating knee injury that wiped out his entire 2016 campaign and temporarily jeopardized his career.

However, he was relegated to reserve duties behind Case Keenum upon his return to the active roster, and was inactive for the NFC Championship against the Philadelphia Eagles as Sam Bradford suited up. All three Vikings pivots are scheduled to hit free agency in March.

Bridgewater threw for 3,231 yards with 14 touchdowns and nine interceptions in 2015, his second year in the league.
