Report: Bell missed all but 5 minutes of Steelers' final walkthrough for Jaguars

The Pittsburgh Steelers' final walkthrough before Sunday's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars was done mostly without Le'Veon Bell, as Ed Bouchette of the Post-Gazette is reporting the star running back missed all but five minutes of the session last Saturday.

That's not the only thing Bell was late for, as Bouchette also reports he arrived much later than the two-hour deadline Mike Tomlin set for players to be in the locker room prior to the game.

Despite the Steelers losing, Bell had a strong showing against the Jaguars, rushing for 67 yards and a touchdown while also catching nine balls for 88 yards and a score.

Bell made headlines last week when he told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler that he's considering sitting out or retiring if he's hit with the franchise tag again for the 2018 season. While that would pay the 25-year-old $14.57 million, he's looking for a long-term contract that will give him more stability. He skipped training camp and the preseason in 2017 but still finished second in the league with 1,946 yards from scrimmage.
