New Orleans Saints punter Thomas Morstead will present a check to the Children's Minnesota Child Life Program during the week of Super Bowl LII, after donations to his What You Give Will Grow charity topped $100,000 on Wednesday.

A wave of donations came in Morstead's honor following the Minnesota Vikings' last-second victory over the Saints in the divisional round. The goal was topped Wednesday evening with a joint donation by the Vikings and Saints.

Morstead sustained torn cartilage on the right side of his ribs early in Sunday's game but continued playing, and was the first Saints player to take the field to defend the mandatory extra-point attempt by the Vikings after Stefon Diggs' crushing 61-yard touchdown.

"What You Give Will Grow was built on the thought that giving back, at any level, makes a difference not only to those receiving the gesture, but in regards to inspiring others to do the same,” said Morstead, according to the campaign website.

Morstead said he will fly to Minneapolis during Super Bowl week to make the check presentation.
