The Oakland Raiders have already ruled out star receiver Amari Cooper for Sunday night's game against the Dallas Cowboys due to an ankle injury.

Cooper first picked up the injury in a Week 12 contest with the Denver Broncos. He missed the following game and only appeared briefly in last week's contest.

Without Cooper in the lineup, quarterback Derek Carr has resorted to looking for tight end Jared Cook and receivers Michael Crabtree, Cordarrelle Patterson, and Seth Roberts.

The Raiders also ruled out defensive end Mario Edwards with an ankle injury and tight end Clive Walford with a concussion and neck injury, and placed rookie defensive back Obi Melifonwu on injured reserve with a hip injury.

The Raiders enter the week one game behind the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers in the AFC West.
