Jets' Kerley blames 'Ghost of Christmas Past' for positive PED test

New York Jets wide receiver Jeremy Kerley believes someone may have altered his sample which caused him to fail a test for performance-enhancing drugs.

Or something, rather.

Kerley, who was suspended four games for violating the NFL's policy on performance enhancing substances in November, had a convenient excuse for his indiscretion.

"I don’t know, a lot of ghosts around here. Ghost put it in. You know the Ghost of Christmas Past," Kerley said to Newsday's Calvin Watkins when asked about the failed test.

Count this among the more bizarre explanations for a positive drug test.
