James Harrison wouldn't have re-signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the offseason if he knew his role would be as diminished as it's been.

The 39-year-old edge rusher has appeared in only four of the Steelers' 12 games this season, amassing a meager 29 snaps in those outings.

"Oh, yeah," Harrison told Michele Tafoya of NBC Sports when asked if he would've signed elsewhere for more playing time. "Who wants to not play?"

After collecting at least five sacks in each of the previous three campaigns with the Steelers, Harrison has one this year.

Pittsburgh was believed to be saving what's left in the 15-year veteran's gas tank for the season's stretch drive, but there's been no indication his role is set to expand as the playoffs approach.
