John Elway is not pleased with how the Denver Broncos' season has gone under first-year head coach Vance Joseph, though he's not planning on taking the same route as the New York Giants during the season.

The Broncos vice president and general manager told Orange & Blue 760 radio on Tuesday that Joseph and his staff will finish out the season with the team.

"We're going to finish this season out," Elway said on Tuesday. "We know the expectations of the Denver Broncos. This has been a tough year. It's not what the Broncos are about. I'm embarrassed about it and will do my part to hopefully get this thing turned around next year."

The Broncos are on an eight-game losing streak with nine defeats under their belt, securing the team's worst record since Elway has joined the front office. The Hall of Fame quarterback is not in favor of seeing his club rack up more losses for a higher draft pick in the final month of the year.

"The expectation of our Bronco fans should be for us to get this turned around," Elway said. "Before we get that done, we're going to take pride in what we do and finish this season as strong as we possibly can. I'd like to get us competitive. Losing is one thing but the way that we've lost is the most frustrating thing."
