Fletcher Cox is being sued by a North Carolina man who claims the Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle had an affair with his wife and ruined their marriage.

The plaintiff, Joshua Jeffords, alleges Cox slept with his wife while she was in Pennsylvania on a work trip in April and "continued the relationship via text messages," according to TMZ Sports. He also claimed in his lawsuit, filed Nov. 22, that Cox sent his wife a picture of his genitalia on Snapchat and told her in a text "I want to get you pregnant."

Jeffords is suing Cox for alienation of affection and seeking more than $25,000 in damages.

According to North Carolina state law, to win an alienation of affection case, it must be proven the plaintiff and their spouse "had a genuine love and affection," that love and affection was "alienated and destroyed," and that the "malicious acts of a third party produced the alienation of affection."
