Cleveland Browns left tackle Joe Thomas missed the first snap of his 11-year career Sunday, after he was forced to leave Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans with a triceps injury.

The Browns announced after the game that it's too early to tell if Thomas will be able to return this season. He'll undergo an MRI on Monday.

Thomas played 10,363 consecutive snaps, believed to be the longest streak in NFL history, before finally missing one. The injury took place midway through the third quarter.

The 32-year-old workhorse has been one of the game's top left tackles since entering the league in 2007, and made his 10th straight Pro Bowl at the end of last season.

Thomas acknowledged the end of the incredible streak.

"It wasn't going to be an infinity streak," he said, according to Andrew Gribble of the team website.
