Fournette questionable, but says he'll play Sunday vs. Colts

Charles LeClaire / USA TODAY Sports

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette is listed as questionable for Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts with an ankle injury, but said he'll play, via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Fournette didn't practice this week and previously said he expects to play, but would ultimately defer to his coaches.

The rookie is off to an excellent start to his professional career, ranking second in the NFL with 596 rushing yards, trailing only Kansas City Chiefs sensation Kareem Hunt.

Fournette has topped 100 yards rushing in consecutive games and, if he's out, it would be a crushing loss for the Jaguars, who have centered their offense around him.
