NFL ratings hit season high in Steelers win over Chiefs

Charles LeClaire / USA TODAY Sports

CBS reported it's best single-game rating of the season in Sunday's Pittsburgh Steelers win over the Kansas City Chiefs, scoring seven percent higher than 2016's top-rated game, according to A.J. Perez of USA TODAY.

With an overnight household rating/share of 14/27 in average metered markets, it was the highest-rated game of the weekend on any network.

The rating also topped the 13.1/25 share of 2016's Week 5 game between the Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals, the highest coverage game of the season.
