Report: Winston has AC joint sprain in shoulder, may play through injury

It looks as though Jameis Winston has avoided major injury to his shoulder, a source told Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. Per the report, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback has a sprained AC joint and may try to play through the pain.

Winston sustained the injury during Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals, leaving the game after throwing just 10 passes.

Ryan Fitzpatrick came on for the injured star and threw for 290 yards and three touchdowns, but was also intercepted twice by the Cardinals' defense.

Winston has struggled in recent weeks, failing to complete over 57 percent of his passes in the last three games. The Bucs travel to face the vaunted defense of the Buffalo Bills next Sunday, and will certainly need a strong performance from their ailing quarterback to get the win.
