There are few statistical categories in which Eli Manning can claim supremacy over his older brother, Peyton Manning, the most prolific passer in NFL history.

However, by starting his 209th consecutive game in Week 6, the New York Giants quarterback passed Peyton for second on the all-time list for consecutive regular-season starts by a quarterback.

"I'm proud of him, 209 consecutive starts," Peyton said, via Mike Klis of 9News. "As a guy who played, I appreciate how Eli has been there for his team every Sunday. He's taken a lot of hits. For him to do that for going on 14 years in a row, I'm proud of him for that."

Of course, the NFL's all-time iron man is Brett Favre, who started 297 straight games.

Eli would need to keep his streak alive until the 13th game the 2022 season to eclipse Favre, a tall order but not impossible considering how well the veteran pivot has avoided injuries during his 14 NFL seasons.
