Myles Garrett's pro debut was postponed when he suffered a sprained right ankle just days before the start of the regular season, but every passing day, the Cleveland Browns get closer to unveiling the draft's No. 1 overall pick.

So, how close is Garrett to finally seeing NFL action?

"Close," head coach Hue Jackson said.

Jackson was asked at his Wednesday press conference if the defensive end out of Texas A&M would play Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.

"I'm not going to say that. Let's just see where he is, but he is getting there," Jackson responded. "There is huge progress that has been made so hopefully, we will see where he is."

The Browns drafted Garrett with the intention of rebuilding a defense that ranked second from the bottom last season in yards allowed per game and sacks. Garrett had 31 sacks in his three-year college career.

Through two games without the 6-foot-4 end with an 82-inch wingspan, the Browns currently rank 18th in total defense and have just three quarterback sacks.
