Report: Colts' Luck won't practice this week

Thomas J. Russo / USA TODAY Sports

Andrew Luck was already ruled out of the Indianapolis Colts' Week 3 game against the Cleveland Browns, but NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports he won't even practice this week.

The franchise quarterback is still recuperating from offseason shoulder surgery, and the Colts have said he'll need to participate in practice before he sees the field in the regular season.

Initial reports had Luck on pace to return to action in October. With Week 3 ruled out, he'll likely have to make an appearance on the practice field early next week in order to have a chance at playing in the Colts' Week 4 contest against the Seattle Seahawks.

The team has struggled to an 0-2 record with Scott Tolzien and Jacoby Brissett splitting starts.
