Bruce Arians raised a few eyebrows when he criticized Carson Palmer after Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts, and he isn't too concerned with hurting his signal-caller's feelings.

The Arizona Cardinals head coach said "the quarterback has to play better," something Arians didn't walk back a day later.

"That's why it's so easy for me to say it, because he don't give a shit," Arians said, according to Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.

"But he's got enough self-confidence he can handle it," Arians added.

Arizona escaped Indy with a win, but Palmer was again less than stellar. The Cardinals pivot has now thrown just two touchdowns to four interceptions on the season.
