NFL has no issue with Steelers' dice celebrations

Mark Konezny / USA TODAY Sports

The NFL said it has no problem with the Pittsburgh Steelers' group celebrations from Week 2, in which they pantomimed dice games after scoring touchdowns.

Martavis Bryant scored a 27-yard touchdown in the first quarter, and then rolled out a pair of imaginary dice in front of teammates.

In the second quarter, JuJu Smith-Schuster scored his first career touchdown and then proceeded to pantomime another dice game alongside Bryant, Le'Veon Bell, and Ramon Foster as the Steelers cruised to a 26-9 victory over the Minnesota Vikings.

NFL spokesperson Joe Lockhart confirmed there were no problems with the post-touchdown performances.

"There was an internal debate this morning over whether they were referring to Yahtzee or backgammon," Lockhart said via Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk. "I don't think we're in a place to determine that, so I think that's OK with us."
